I love San Francisco in the winter, especially around the holidays. There is no better place to get a sense of holiday energy than Union Square. It’s busy even in the quietest of months, but in December, it really comes alive with the colorful lights, ice skating, holiday shopping and the smells of hot cocoa. The vibe reminds me of Central Park and Park Avenue in New York.
This elegant and intimate wedding of Ying and Chao was my last wedding of the season, and it was a great way to ease into my own winter holiday. The bride was calm, collected and beautiful in her elegant lace dress. Chao was also cool and calm, with just a hint of nervous energy as they met for a first-look in the beautiful mirrored hallway leading to the Borgia Room at the Westin St. Francis
