Westin St. Francis – Ying and Chao

I love San Francisco in the winter, especially around the holidays. There is no better place to get a sense of holiday energy than Union Square. It’s busy even in the quietest of months, but in December, it really comes alive with the colorful lights, ice skating, holiday shopping and the smells of hot cocoa. The vibe reminds me of Central Park and Park Avenue in New York.

This elegant and intimate wedding of Ying and Chao was my last wedding of the season, and it was a great way to ease into my own winter holiday. The bride was calm, collected and beautiful in her elegant lace dress. Chao was also cool and calm, with just a hint of nervous energy as they met for a first-look in the beautiful mirrored hallway leading to the Borgia Room at the Westin St. Francis

This couple pulled out all the stops for this action packed wedding at Nestledown. Lounge, smores by the firepit, pizza station (after dinner), ice-cream truck (manned by the bride and groom) and a band that rocked the house. Of course, the main attraction was the combining of two lives and a new beginning filled with love, laughter and adventure.

Clos La Chance Wedding

This was another beautiful and elegant wedding at one of my favorite South Bay destinations. I’ve been going to Clos La Chance for many years and can’t remember anything less than a perfect setting for couples choosing to marry there. Anna and Daniel might be East Coast bound, but they’ll never forget their wedding day as the sun set over the Hummingbird Hills. Mazel Tov to this wonderful couple beginning their new lives together.
